Affiliate terms.

By joining the PromptlessPress Affiliate Programme you agree to these terms. Plain English, no surprises.

1. Joining the programme

The programme is run by PromptlessPress ("PP," "we"). "Affiliate" means you. You must be over 18. Every application is reviewed and approved by hand; acceptance is at our discretion.

2. Commission

You earn 40% of every paid subscription invoice from a customer you refer, for 12 months from their first paid invoice (not lifetime). Refunded or charged-back invoices are clawed back from future payouts. Free trials, free tools and topups are not commissionable. Annual plans are commissionable on the upfront payment, not per month.

Tracking

Tracked via Rewardful with a 90-day cookie. Last referral link clicked wins. Self-referrals don't earn.

5. Disclosure

You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship in any post that contains your link — e.g. "Affiliate link — I get a commission if you sign up." Required by FTC, ASA, and your local consumer-protection law. "#ad" at the start of a tweet is fine.

6. What your audience gets

Customers who sign up through your referral link get our Founding Member pricing — the first 100 paid customers lock in the low founding price for as long as they stay subscribed. There is no separate discount code; referrals are attributed to your account through your tracking link (see §2 tracking).

7. Intellectual property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use our name, logo and approved marketing assets solely for promoting PromptlessPress under this programme. We retain all rights. You can't register "PromptlessPress" or any confusing variation as a trademark, business name or social handle.

8. Confidentiality

Internal data we share with you (commission reports, click data, beta info) is confidential.

9. Inactive accounts

Affiliates with zero referrals after 90 days may be paused. Reactivate any time by emailing us.

10. Termination

Either side can leave any time. We can terminate for breach (especially §4 violations) or fraud, in which case unpaid commissions are forfeit. We'll always give 7 days to fix anything fixable. On termination you stop using the brand and remove your tracking links.

11. Tax

You're responsible for your own taxes. We may require a W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (non-US) before paying out.

12. Changes

We can update these terms with 14 days' notice by email.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, PromptlessPress's liability under this programme is capped at the total commissions paid to you in the prior 12 months.

14. Governing law

British Columbia, Canada. Disputes go to the courts of Vancouver, BC unless local law forces otherwise.

FAQ

When does my commission clock start?
When the customer's first paid invoice clears. Trials don't count.
Can I refer myself?
No — self-referrals don't earn commission and may get your account suspended.
Do annual plans pay 12x at once?
Yes — you earn 40% on the full annual payment up front. The 12-month commission window then ends with that payment (no double dipping).
What counts as a refund clawback?
Any refund or successful chargeback within 90 days of the invoice. The commission is reversed from your next payout.
Is the commission for life?
No — it's 40% recurring for 12 months from each referral's first paid invoice, not lifetime. Any new customer you refer starts a fresh 12-month window.
Is there more than one tier?
No. One simple tier — every approved affiliate earns the same 40% recurring commission for 12 months per referral.
