AI Botanical Generator for Etsy

How It Works

From idea to live listing in 3 steps

Choose the botanical style

Vintage scientific plates, loose watercolor and single-line leaves are three different markets. Botanical is the most saturated corner of wall art, so the style is what makes a listing findable.

Decide single print or coordinated set

Try “vintage”, “watercolor” or “line art”. Botanicals hang in groups more than most art, so sets of three or six are the stronger product.

Publish with the listing written

Print-ready files in every common ratio plus the title, relevant tags and a description covering sizes and set contents.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I compete in such a saturated botanical category?+

By being specific about the style and the plant. Vintage fern plates and minimalist eucalyptus line art are searched; the word botanical on its own competes with tens of thousands of listings.

Do botanical prints sell better in sets?+

Yes. They are hung in groups far more often than singly, so a set of three or six both matches how buyers use them and lifts the price.

Are vintage botanical illustrations free to use?+

Genuinely old plates may be out of copyright, but modern reproductions and scans often are not. Creating your own artwork avoids a question you would otherwise have to answer to Etsy.

What sizes should I supply?+

All the common ratios in one download — 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 5:7 and ISO. Buyers are matching frames they own, and a single-size file loses the sale.

Can I sell botanical prints made with AI on Etsy?+

Yes, with disclosure. Etsy allows AI-assisted designs under its Creativity Standards as long as you are clear about how they were made.
