AI Tarot Card Design Generator for Etsy

How It Works

From idea to live listing in 3 steps

Decide the scope of the deck

A full 78-card deck, the 22 major arcana, or a small themed set. The major arcana is where most sellers start, because a full deck is a large amount of consistent artwork.

Hold one visual language across every card

Try “botanical”, “celestial” or “line art”. Consistency matters more here than in any other card category — a deck where cards look unrelated reads as unfinished.

Publish with the listing written

Print-ready files plus the title, relevant tags and a description covering the card count, the size, and whether a guidebook is included.

FAQ

Common questions

Should I make a full deck or just the major arcana?+

The 22 major arcana is the sensible first product. It is a complete, recognized set, it is a fraction of the artwork, and buyers understand what they are getting without you discounting a partial deck.

What size are tarot cards?+

Around 2.75x4.75 inches is the traditional size, larger than a playing card. Buyers printing at home care how many fit per sheet, so include that.

Does a deck need a guidebook?+

A short meaning-per-card sheet lifts the perceived value more than extra artwork does, and it is what separates a deck from a set of pretty images.

Is tarot imagery free to use?+

The traditional card names and structure are, but specific published decks are not. Draw your own interpretation of each card rather than reproducing another artist's version, which is a copyright problem and an Etsy removal.

What do buyers search for?+

Printable tarot deck, tarot card design, major arcana printable, DIY tarot deck. The word printable matters because buyers are choosing between printing and buying a physical deck.

Can I sell a tarot deck made with AI on Etsy?+

Yes, with disclosure. Etsy allows AI-assisted designs under its Creativity Standards as long as you are clear about how the deck was made.
