AI Phone Wallpaper Generator for Etsy

How It Works

From idea to live listing in 3 steps

Treat lock and home screens as two products

A lock screen carries a large clock across the top. A home screen carries an app grid across the middle. The same image rarely serves both well.

Leave the top and bottom bands alone

Try “aesthetic”, “dark” or “pattern”. The status bar, clock and dock occupy fixed strips, and a design whose subject lands under them looks broken.

Publish with the listing done

Files at the sizes you support plus the title, relevant tags and a description naming the screen sizes and how many designs are included.

FAQ

Common questions

Why does a wallpaper look wrong once it is set?+

Because the preview showed the whole image and the phone does not. The clock covers the top third and icons cover the rest, so the visible area is much smaller than the file.

Do dark wallpapers have an advantage?+

On phones with OLED screens, dark designs suit how people actually use them, and they keep white icon text readable. It is a genuine selling point worth stating.

How many designs should a pack contain?+

Enough to rotate. People change phone wallpapers far more often than desktop ones, so a coordinated pack outsells a single image by a wide margin.

What sizes should I supply?+

One tall file at a generous resolution covers most phones, since the system crops rather than stretches. Naming the pixel dimensions still matters to buyers.

Can I sell phone wallpaper made with AI on Etsy?+

Yes, with disclosure. Etsy allows AI-assisted designs under its Creativity Standards as long as you are clear about how it was made.
