AI Resume Template Generator for Etsy

How It Works

From idea to live listing in 3 steps

Assume software will read it before a person does

Many applications are parsed automatically before anyone opens them. Columns, text boxes and graphics are what break that reading.

Keep the structure plain and the styling light

Try “single column”, “classic” or “modern”. Clear headings and real text outperform an elaborate layout that arrives at the employer scrambled.

Publish with the listing written

Template files plus the title, relevant tags and a description naming the format, the software required and whether a cover letter is included.

FAQ

Common questions

Why can a beautiful resume template hurt the buyer?+

Because automated screening often reads the file before a person does, and multi-column layouts, text boxes and icons can come through jumbled or empty. The prettiest template can be the one that fails first.

Single column or two?+

Single column is the safer product and worth leading with. If you offer a two-column version, say plainly where it suits and where it does not.

Which file format should I supply?+

Whatever the buyer can actually edit, named in the title. A template requiring software they do not have is the main source of refunds here.

Should a cover letter be included?+

It is an easy way to raise the value of the listing. A matching cover letter and reference page cost little to design and are what buyers expect in a set.

Can I sell resume templates made with AI on Etsy?+

Yes, with disclosure. Etsy allows AI-assisted designs under its Creativity Standards provided you are clear about how they were made.
